Explain why a properly fitted helmet and a secure strap are important.

Hockey is a collision sport and injuries do occur. But with certified, quality, well-fitting equipment, the frequency and severity of these injuries can be decreased. Explain why a properly fitted helmet and a secure strap are important.

I think the art shows that you can use different things to make a work of art.

I am really excited about this art. I am fascinated by how pieces of hockey equipment could be reused to create such beautiful work. I can honestly say that I have never thought of hockey equipment as beautiful. What an awesome way to take materials designed for one purpose and turn them into something completely different.

this work of art makes me feel like I’m in a very colorful place and when I look at this piece I visualize what it would be like to be there and what fun activites I could do! When I see art it makes me think about why the artist painted that piece!

The last one reminds me of driving up to North Bay to our cottage. There are so many trees and stars at night.

Wow! Yes, I do get a lot of inspiration from up North, in Algonquin Park like the Group of Seven! What are some new names you would give these pieces…go ahead. Get goofy! I do everyday at the studio 🙂

I’ll just point out that Liz is also a goalie… and we are just the most artistic players, I guess.
